Guwahati, March 10: Dalmia Bharat Cement launched their special product Dalmia DSP Cement through a unique initiative called ‘Shudo Eti Matro Boi’ meaning ‘Just one book’. The launch is a synergy between innovation and information. Dalmia started the campaign ‘Shudo Eti Matro Boi’ in Silchar some months back during dealers meet where each of their dealers contributed a book. The total number of books collected at the meet was donated to a local school library.
Speaking about the campaign, deputy executive director, Dalmia Bharat Cement, Sunil Aggarwal said, “We started the campaign some months back and continued with it where citizens of Silchar donated books across various dealerships of Dalmia Cement in Silchar. We are glad that 3000 books have been collected from this initiative which has been donated to a few under privileged schools in Silchar.”
Books in large numbers were also donated by Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silchar and Tagore School of Studies, Badarpur. Dalmia DSP is an innovative product and therefore its launch in Silchar has been done through the innovative book campaign. The inauguration was done through a song sung by Sayan Biswas of the band Dolchut. In North East, Dalmia DSP was first launched in Guwahati and the product was recently launched across North East including Silchar.
The premium product shall have a premium placement in the retail stores and the channel partner shall act as an evangelist and shall explain the benefits of the product to the consumer. During the launch, the channel partners were enthused to display the products differentially so that it effused curiosity and queries from among the potential customers.
