Guwahati, Nov 10: The 17th International Leo Expo, which began on 27th October in Guwahati at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, will culminate on 13th November. Footfall at the 17th edition of this shopping extravaganza was immense as people from all age groups thronged the Leo Expo. The shopping enthusiasts shopped till their hearts’ content and took benefits of the various discounts and offers that were offered by the different companies which have participated in the expo. It was observed that shoppers attending the Leo Expo bought TV, refrigerators, washing machines etc. of different popular brands at a much cheaper rate compared to the existing market rates. Furniture with royal designs and fine finish also sold like hot cakes at the 17th International Leo Expo.
‘Mekhela Chador’ of different styles and designs were also available in the expo this year and they have been a hit among the female shoppers. Moreover, Jamdani and Tangail sarees from Bangladesh have also attracted the female visitors greatly. Food items like pickles, Namkeens etc. have also been on high demand.
The 17th edition of Northeast’s own shopping extravaganza was a hit among the shopping lovers mainly due to its proper and disciplined management. Moreover, with the shopping arena constructed replicating the Lotus Temple, light-ways at both the entrance and exit, and a designated selfie-zone for the shoppers only added to the charm of the expo.
