DIPHU, July 27: All Dimasa Students Union (ADSU) have submitted a memorandum to the chief minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday at Assam Legislative Assembly and discussed on the grievances faced by the Dimasa Kachari living in the State of Assam.
The chief minister listened to the grievances for protection, preservation and beautification of Dimasa Kachari monuments at Dimapur, Maibang, Kashpur and Karimganj. ADSU also demanded the erection of statues of Dimasa icons (Veer Sambhudan Phonglo, Tuliram Senapati, Sengyajik Joya Thaosen etc.) in various parts of the state of Assam in which the Dimasa King had once ruled. Student hostels in proper Karimganj Town for Dimasa boys and girls etc. The CM assured to look into it.
