SIVASAGAR, May 3: RTI activist and a leading figure in anti-CAA stir in the state AkhilGogoi made history in the Assam assembly elections 2021 by winning the prestigious 107 Sivasagar LAC from the jail defeating nearest rival SurabhiRajkumari of the Bharatiya Janata Party convincingly by a margin of over 12,000 votes.
