GUWAHATI, April 29: The Guwahati chapter of BNI ESTEEM on Thursday celebrated their 1stanniversary by organising a mega blood donation camp at Marwari Hospital Blood Bank at Athgaon wherein they collected 56 units of blood which is a record number.
A total of 62 donors were present out of which 6 donors were rejected due to medical reasons. 17 donors donated for the first time in their life. The event was graced by executive director of BNI SiddharthGarodia, support ambassador Narendra Surana, launch director Rahul Agarwal and admin executive Neha Surana and Sonakshi Jain.
All the other 5 chapters of the region also contributed by sending donors from their chapter as informed by BNI Esteem president Deepak Khemka and vice president Manoj Patni.
The project chairperson of the same was SumeetSethi. BNI has come forward in this pandemic and shall continuously do such camps in coming days and have also started their work for plasma donation, a press release stated.
