Bodo leaders extend condolence on Barman’s demise

KOKRAJHAR, April 19: All Bodo Students Union (ABSU), Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member (CEM) and UPPL president Pramod Boro have extended condolences over the demise of former chief minister of Assam Dr Bhumidhar Barman.

Dr Barman passed away on Sunday evening due to age ailments at a hospital in Guwahati.

In a condolence message, BTR CEM Boro expressed his deep mourning, saying that Assam state lost a great leader with the death of Dr Barman.

“Dr Barman’s demise is saddening, who had contributed towards upliftment and development of the state in his whole life. Assam as a whole must remember his contributions,” Boro added.

ABSU president Dipen Boro also extended his condolence over the demise of Dr Barman.
