Silchar, March 6: The Cachar district administration and district election officials have organized training of polling staff for seven constituencies in the district to ensure a smooth voting process in the district for the upcoming assembly elections.
The training on EVM and VVPAT will run from March 8 to 11. These four days training will be in two phases from 10 pm to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 5 pm. The training centers are — Norshing Higher secondary School, Silchar Government Girls Higher secondary School and Government Boys higher secondary school. The additional deputy Commissioner Cachar cum officer-in-charge of the training and awareness cell, said in a notification on Saturday that master trainers and polling personnel should remain present mentioned against their respective traning center on the scheduled date and time.
