Dollungmukh unrest: AAPSU demands action from Assam govt

ITANAGAR, Sept 21: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU), while condemning alleged intrusion by Assam Police personnel into Arunachal boundary and subsequently destroying an ongoing government construction work at Dollungmukh village Lower Subansiri district on Tuesday, has called upon the state government to take up the matter with Assam government to avoid recurrence of such incidents in future.

In a statement issued by its deputy spokesman Nepha Wangsa on Thursday, AAPSU, while demanding action from Assam government against the magistrate, said that such kind of incidents disturbs prevailing peace and tranquility in the area.

The AAPSU also urged the state government to release the pending salary of RMSA and SSA teachers, who had hit the streets recently demanding early release of their salary.
