ITANAGAR, Aug 6: Continuing his effort in reaching out to the people from all walks of life, Arunachal Pradesh Governor PB Acharya met the members of business community at Namsai. He advised them to contribute towards the welfare of the society where they earn their livelihood.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made India proud in the last three years. Each one of us can strengthen him effort by making individual contributions towards the society.
The Governor advised them to create awareness on central and state governments’ welfare schemes and programmes. Enrol at least five individuals under Jan Dhan yojana. He also asked them to sponsor school children and provide assistance to the government schools.
The business community also shared their challenges in the district.
The Governor expressed his deep concern about drug addiction in the district. He said that the deficiency and default of the educated empowered people have resulted in the present situation. He called upon the people to stand united against drug menace.
