GUWAHATI, June 10: JBF (Just Be Friendly), a Guwahati based social sector organisation working for animal welfare since 2003 had organised a free anti rabies vaccination drive at seven different locations across Guwahati on Thursday to celebrate its foundation day in Northeast India.
According to Sashanka Sekhar Dutta, chief functionary of JBF, the organisation has been doing its part to mitigate deadly Rabies and will continue to carry on through every possible way. He also added that he was confident that with their continuous activities they will reach the ultimate goal of Rabies free society by 2030.
For the free anti rabies vaccination programme, the organisation collaborated with prime governmental and non-governmental authorities to carry on the drive smoothly and to reach every animal in need.
The drive has been carried out at all the following venues from 9 am to 12 pm at Teaching Veterinary Clinic at Khanapara, State Veterinary Hospital at Chenikuthi, Pet Care Unit at Jalukbari, Vet Care (Holistic Medicos) at Hengrabari; Urban Tails at Kahilipara, Safe Haven Clinic at Dispur and Hiyaa’s at Ghoramara Chariali.
