Dimapur, April 27: In a highest one-day spike, Nagaland registered 207 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday. With the new cases, the total Covid-19 positive tally in the State rose to 13,445.
State health and family welfare minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted on Tuesday evening that among the new cases, 177 are from Dimapur, 13 from Kohima, nine from Tuensang, three each from Longleng and Mokokchung and one each from Mon and Peren district.
Phom said a total of 16 patients, who were earlier infected with Covid-19 have recovered from the disease.
He said eight patients recovered in Kohima, seven in Dimapur while one in Wokha.
A total of 12,151 patients have recovered from the disease in the state so far. The state currently has 874 active Covid-19 cases.
