KOKRAJHAR, April 25: BPF president Hagrama Mohilary has claimed that his party candidate Pramila Rani Brahma will emerge victorious from Kokrajhar constituency getting over 5 lakh votes. Mohilary was addressing reporters after a party meeting with election steering committee at Bathou complex here on Thursday post completion of third phase polls on April 23.
He said that the party conducted a survey to assess all information regarding post poll scenario and figured possibility of winning Kokrajhar seat with large number of votes.
He has also predicted that BPF will get over 5 lakh votes, sitting MP Naba Kumar Sarania will adjust in second position with 4 lakh votes, UPPL candidate UG Brahma will be getting over 3 lakh votes, Congress candidate Sabdaram Rabha will get over one lakh votes in the elections.
He also claimed that the BJP-led alliance will get over 10 seats in Assam. Mohilary said that he is leaving for the USA for nearly a week before the counting of votes.
“I am leaving for USA for a week tour before counting of Lok Sabha elections results,” said BPF president Mohilary. BPF candidate Pramila Rani Brahma has also expressed her hopeful of winning the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat with majority votes.
