Morigaon, Sept 22: A programme on ‘Clinical Schedule for Primary Care Psychiatry’ for periphery doctors was organised at Morigaon Civil Hospital on Saturday. The programme was organised by District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) Morigaon. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Ruhini Kr. Borkataky, Jt. DHS, Morigaon.
As mental health problems are on the rise, this schedule was held for periphery doctors to diagnose mental health problems very easily. On the other hand, Morigaon will be first district in the state to use this schedule and the second in the country to do so. The chief resource person was Dr. C Naveen Kumar, additional Prof. of psycritary, NIMHANS, Bangalore, who was assisted by Dr. Jayanta Dutta, Psycritist, Morigaon Civil Hospital and Dr. Ruhini Kumar, State Consultant (Mental Health).
