RGU confers Ph D degree to Prof Monu Bhujel

RUKSIN, May 15: Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Arunachal Pradesh, a Central University has conferred Ph D (Doctor of Philosophy) to Assistant Professor of Jonai, Monu Bhujel in appreciation of his research paper titled “Representation of adolescence and youth in select novels of Amitav Ghose, Upamanya Chatterjee, and Chetan Bhagat”, submitted to the university in April last year.

Bhujel conducted his research activities under supervision of Professor Asima Ranjan Parhi, Dept of English in Rajiv Gandhi University.

The University authority has given him the Provisional Degree Certificate on April 24 this year and informed that the original degree would be conferred to him in the next convocation of the university.

Prof Bhujel, son of Harkara Bhujel Jonai Lakhinepali basti bordering to Ruksin of Arunachal Pradesh is presently serving as Head of department of English in Jonai Girl’s College run under Dibrugarh University. He started his Ph D Course work in 2010. He took his college education from Darang College, Tezpur.
