Road safety programme for Meghalaya Police

SHILLONG, Aug 7: Diageo India on Tuesday announced the launch of its road safety capacity building programme for the Meghalaya Police together with the Institute of Road Traffic Education (IRTE).
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Kala Ramachandran, Director NEPA, Inspector General of Police and Dr. Rohit Baluja, President, Institute of Road Traffic Education (IRTE).
Aimed at achieving higher levels of efficiency and effectiveness, the programme will provide capacity building training to over 35 traffic police and transport officers in road accident investigation and traffic management.
