HOJAI, May 21: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) 20 days training camp concluded with closing ceremony at Gitaashram campus in Hojai on Sunday evening.
The Closing ceremony began with lighting of lamp, flag hoisting which was followed by prayers. After that the trainee’s showcased the self defense skills learnt during the 20 days of camp. Also, a brief introduction was delivered by the volunteers about the 20 days camp which started April 29 and concluded on May 19. Around 229 Volunteers of RSS from 33 districts took part in this camp.
Speaking on the occasion chief guest, Udhav Bharali, Padmashree Awardee shared his valuable life experiences with the trainee’s. He said everyone should understand the responsibility towards their life and the Nation. Bharali said, “At Present Assam is battling with various problems such as immigrants, unemployment. To cope up with these problems citizens of India have to work with unison, stay with peace, tranquility”.
Bharali further added that the problems like unemployment can only be solved with skills training and development programmes, whereby the youths will able to work on their own and also start up their own venture.
