Rupsing Teron among 43 persons to get literary pension

GUWAHATI, Aug 13: Karbi writer and author of “Diarun Alun” and composer of “Haimu” Rupsing Teron (Karbi Anglong) is among 43 persons who will receive will receive literary pension for 2018-19, an official release informed here on Monday.

The names of other recipients are: Dr. Uttam Ch. Pathak (Barpeta), Indra Prasad Saikia (Biswanath), Santanamayee Mazumdar (Bongaigaon), Kabrambam Nilakanta Singha (Cachar), Matidev Sharma Shastri (Darrang), Prithu Ram Baruah (Darrang), Nilima Chakraborty (Dhubri), Jitendra Nath Chutia (Dhemaji), Dr. Pushpadhar Gogoi (Dhemaji), Guneswar Sonowal (Dibrugarh), Mukut Dutta (Dibrugarh), Jyoti Borgohain (Dibrugarh), Bhaba Kanta Konwar (Dibrugarh), Anima Devi (Golaghat), Ritanjali Puzari (Jorhat), Runima Baruah (Jorhat), Nripen Deuri (Jorhat), Dinesh Kakati Nath (Kamrup Metro), Muruli Dhar Das (Kamrup Metro), Safiur Rahman Saikia (Kamrup Metro), Dr. Bhupendra Roychoudhury (Kamrup Metro), Tarani Kanta Pathak (Kamrup Metro), Madhuri Kalita Choudhury (Kamrup Metro), Nilima Bora (Kamrup Metro), Dayananda Pathak (Kamrup Metro), Pankaj Thakur (Kamrup Metro), Bhuban Ch.
