HOJAI, Dec 13: Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science & Technology, Hojai inaugurated a talk series on Monday. As a part of this series, IQAC and NSS in collaboration with department of English, Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science and Technology organised a lecture series and an interactive session on ‘Spoken English’. Gouri Prasad Sarmah, academic in-charge & NSS program officer welcomed all the distinguished guests and the students to the program. The session was joined by principal Pritam Jyoti Sharma, vice principal Sana Moiz, HoD, department of English, Aditi Ghosh, assistant professor, Junumani Ahmed, assistant professor, Assamese, Rajiv Hussain, coordinator of IQAC cell, Hemanta Nath and cooking and ground staff of the college. The session was inaugurated by the host, Tamima Rahman Barbhuyan, student of the department of English. The program has been benefited by the encouraging speech of the principal followed by the speech of HoD of English, Aditi Ghosh. Tania Mazumder, BA 5th semester, Sumaiya Afrin Laskar, BSc 5th semester and Najma Begum Laskar, BSc 5th semester, presented the PPT for the amelioration of the attendees. The program ended by arranging a quiz and interactive session among the students, cooking staff members and other attendees of the program.
