KOKRAJHAR, June 20: The United Youth’s Democratic Federation(UYDF), a newly floated non-political social organisation have demanded establishment of gardens of Industrial Training Institutes(ITI) and parks as well many more entrepreneurship in the country to make youth employers and not employees. The federation demanded ‘youth’s pension’ for the state of Assam to facilitate welfare and development of the youths.
The UYDF was founded on May 1(2018) to work for the welfare of the society and to fulfil unattended, ignored and neglected issues of the youth.
Speaking at a press conference held at Kokrajhar Press Club, president of the newly floated UYDF Gorjon Mochahary said that youth of the society are deprived from their rights due to the political system across the country. He said that unemployment, drugs abuse, sex trade and extremism across the country are on a peak these days. He has demanded more establishments of ITI parks and more jobs opportunities across the country to make employers among society and build a welfare state. He also put demand to the chief minister of Assam to consider youths’ pension for the state of Assam with welfare spirits.
