Kohima, Aug 6: The Kohima Town Club (KTC) officially launched the Kohima Football League (KFL) 2017 trophy, club jersey and oath taking of the participating clubs at WTF, New Minister’s Hill, Kohima View Point, near Cathedral church on Friday.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest/(IPS) retired DGP of Nagaland and adviser of KTC, K Kire congratulated the Kohima Town Club for systematically organizing the Kohima Football league and hoped the league will be an eye opener to the Naga footballers to achieve greater heights of glory and honour.
He also unveiled the KFL Trophy 2017, which is one of the biggest running trophy in the state for any tournament.
M Mathew Yhome, secretary of the organising committee of Kohima Football League 2017 is sponsoring the prestigious and well furnished KFL 2017 running trophy.
The eight teams also introduced their respective jerseys before the distinguished gathering.
The tournament league football balls are sponsored by G Sports, Dimapur.
The oath of the clubs was administered by Kevilebei Paphino, convenor technical committee.
The program was chaired by secretary, organizing committee M Mathew Yhome, and the vote of thanks was proposed by general secretary Krodi.
